چکیده
The set of all non-increasing nonnegative integers sequence π = (d(v1), d(v2), ..., d(vn)) is denoted by NSn. A sequence π ∈ NSn is said to be graphic if it is the degree sequence of a simple graph G on n vertices, and such a graph G is called a realization of π. The set of all graphic sequences in NSn is denoted by GSn. A graphical sequence π is potentially H-graphical if there is a realization of π containing H as a subgraph, while π is forcibly H-graphical if every realization of π contains H as a subgraph. Let Kk denote a complete graph on k vertices. Let Km−H be the graph obtained from Km by removing the edges set E(H) of the graph H (H is a subgraph of Km). This paper summarizes briefly some recent results on potentially Km −G-graphic sequences and give a useful classification for determining σ(H,n).

A sequence S is potentially Km−Pk graphical if it has a realization containing a Km −Pk as a subgraph. Let σ(Km −Pk, n) denote the smallest degree sum such that every n-term graphical sequence S with σ(S) ≥ σ(Km−Pk, n) is potentially Km−Pk graphical. In this paper, we prove that σ(Km−Pk, n) ≥ (2m−6)n−(m−3)(m−2)+2, for n ≥ m ≥ k + 1 ≥ 4. We conjectured that equality holds for n ≥ m ≥ k + 1 ≥ 4. ...
متن کاملEnumerating labeled graphs with a k-cycle
Cayley’s Tree Formula for enumerating labeled trees is well known. In this paper a more general result is presented for graphs with exactly one k-cycle (i.e. cycle on k vertices ).It is proved that for all integers n and k such that (n ≥ k ≥ 3), the number of possible labeled graphs on n vertices that contain exactly one k-cycle is ( n−1 k−1 ) nn−k. 1 ar X iv :0 90 9. 24 00 v1 [ m at h. Let Km −H be the graph obtained from Km by removing the edges set E(H) of H where H is a subgraph of Km. In this paper, we characterize the potentially K5 − P3, K5 − A3, K5 −K3 and K5 − K1,3-graphic sequences where A3 is P2 ∪ K2. Moreover, we also characterize the potentially K5 − 2K2-graphic sequences where pK2 is the matching consisted of p edges.

For given a graphH , a graphic sequence π = (d1, d2, · · · , dn) is said to be potentially H-graphic if there exists a realization of π containing H as a subgraph. Let Km −H be the graph obtained from Km by removing the edges set E(H) where H is a subgraph of Km. In this paper, we characterize the potentially K2,5-graphic sequences. This characterization implies a theorem due to Yin et al. [15].
